About Eli Kochman Copywriting

I’m Eli Kochman, a chef and copywriter with over 9 years of experience in the restaurant world. I’ve lead kitchens, opened my own restaurant by 22, and learned firsthand what it takes to create a seamless guest experience.

 

My passion for hospitality evolved into a new craft: writing the words that bring restaurants to life online. From homepage copy and email campaigns to social media captions, menu descriptions, and custom SOPs for kitchen operations. I help restaurants communicate with clarity, style, and purpose.

 

I’m currently still active in the culinary field working as a Sous Chef at Chleo restaurant in Kingston, NY. This dual perspective helps me write with a deep understanding of both the guest and the operator. This site is a place to showcase my writing, attract new clients, and keep growing in an industry I love.
